What is my verdict? This is the question I need to answer with further reason and analysis and it can take me days to think of the best decision over the whole trial against the conspiracy of the mafia family. Including which is Giacomo DiNorscio and is nicknamed as Jackie. Let me start of by saying who Fat Jack or Jackie Dee, the known nicknames of Mr. DiNorscio, is.
He was one of the New Jersey notorious Lucchese crime families. He was arrested for the illegal distribution of narcotics to the dealers. He served in seventeen and a half long years of his thirty-year sentence. Without any knowledge in a court trial’s proceeding, he defended his own self in the twenty-one-month trial of the New Jersey Crew.
The laughing jurors in the court bug the mind of the lawyers of the each side as Mr. DiNorscio gives an edge among his fellow defendants. He made the jury laugh. Most of the lawyers know that when the jurors get to laughing, they will probably decide in favor of the defendant resulting to the discrimination and hatred towards him from the family whom are also his fellow defendants in the trial against conspiracy.
As a law-abiding citizen, I can not allow such illegal actions. But as a soft-hearted person, I am touched with the love of Mr. DiNorcsio to his own mafia family, who neglected him over the whole trial, when he begged the jurors to find himself guilty saving from the families’ destruction.
Therefore, I say he is not guilty.
On the other hand, the brilliance of Jackie impressed me during the whole trial. He caught the witnesses off guard of the hidden truth. He was able to analyze and find ways in order to draw back the accusations. His defense can be compared to how a Philippine president dictator defends himself while he was imprisoned of a murder. Ferdinand Marcos, as well, had proven himself not guilty of the charge against him.
The two clever defendants raise the hopes of the lost. Mr. DiNorscio, attaining the highest education level of a 6th grader, and Mr. Marcos, a law student, exhibited great motivation and inspiration to the eyes of the people. Being brilliant is innate to us and they have used it well enough to defend their own self.
